Charitable Foundation "Future of Ukraine. Sokalshchyna ”operates despite difficulties and obstacles

"If thou wilt give thy bread to the hungry, thou shalt satisfy the afflicted soul: then shall thy light shine in darkness, and thy darkness shall be as the south" (Isaiah 58:10). We show mercy and love not only to the body but also to the soul. Even the poor can say a kind word or comfort the upset and offended. So, if we are rich, let us help the poor, and if we ourselves are in a difficult financial situation, let us bring a ray of hope and comfort to the darkness. Then our souls will become "like the south shining with the rays of the sun" (from prayer).
It is not enough to read a prayer or say it! It is necessary to act - sincerely, wisely, with love and respect for others. Charitable Foundation "Future of Ukraine. Sokalshchyna ”operates despite difficulties and obstacles. On the eve of the magical night of St. Nicholas, members of the Charitable Foundation under the leadership of President Yuli Lukomsky organized an event "Create good" for those who desperately needed that good. Sweets, gifts (clothes, shoes, school supplies, etc.), financial aid from Oleg Lukomsky and the Union of Ukrainian Women of Australia, a cheerful song performed by students of the Sokal House of Children's and Youth Creativity, words of support and congratulations from organizers and guests - gifts received by families. who are now in trouble.
A pleasant surprise were souvenirs that children could choose according to their own interests and preferences. Lovers of interesting books shone with reading books, girls tried on unpretentious jewelry, kids liked a variety of toy animals… No one left without a gift in memory of the meeting.
Each event of the charity fund is a lesson for children and adults, the theme of which is always Good. In 2021, they talked about good people and the importance of their good deeds. Cozy atmosphere, loud carols, pleasant communication made the holiday truly fabulous.
I would like to note the long-term tireless charitable activity of the Lukomsky family. These are people who are born to do good!
